Very scarce officers badge in silver or silver plate with Andersons maker plate to rear. 7 piece construction. Silver or silvered star, Gilt overlay (worn) Silver St Andrew and four separate scrolls Highland,Cyclists, Battalion and the fourth one should read TF but has become detached and lost. Could be easily repaired and the badge is priced accordingly.

Black Watch (The Dundee Highlanders) Plaid Brooch 1868-1887
This unit was formed in 1880 as the 3rd Forfar Rifle Volunteers but had carried the name Dundee Highlanders from 1868. A similar brooch can be found on Ron Marsdens web pages. It is a smaller brooch than the regular BW pipers brooch being just about 3 inches in Diameter. Very scarce item. Replacement pin to rear and regimental number 27 to rear. read more
