Black Watch (The Dundee Highlanders) Plaid Brooch 1868-1887

This unit was formed in 1880 as the 3rd Forfar Rifle Volunteers but had carried the name Dundee Highlanders from 1868. A similar brooch can be found on Ron Marsdens web pages. It is a smaller brooch than the regular BW pipers brooch being just about 3 inches in Diameter. Very scarce item. Replacement pin to rear and regimental number 27 to rear.
