57 Foot The West Middlesex Regiment Pre 1855 Officers Shoulder Belt Plate

One of the nicest items I have owned. Described but not show in Parkyn.Backplate in burnished Gilt. On this a silver cut star of the Order of The Bath on this a Gilt Crown. Below this a Maltese Cross in Gilt with the Battle Honours Albuhera, Nivelle, Nive, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Peninsula.To the centre a laurel wreath with the motto Ich Dien to the centre the motto of the Order Tria Juncta In Uno in gilt lettering over a crimson enamel backing within this 3 gilt crowns over a white enamel backing superb and far better than the photos.
