4th Royal Tank Regiment Pipers Bonnet or Glengarry Badge

The 4th RTR was formed mainly from Scots, who wanted a pipe band. The formation of the band was not straightforward as by some it was viewed as not upholding the traditions of the RTR and was also viewed as offending Scottish Regiments.This Large Badge (approximately 3" X 3" is in heavy silver plate with 2 Long Lugs to the rear The band was formed in 1972 and is still going strong
