77th East Middlesex Regiment ) Officers Shoulder Belt Plate 1830-1855
This is Parkyn 321 Worn between 1830 and 1855 In this time they served in Jamaica, The Mediterranean, West Indies and North America (Canada) in 1854 it served under General Buller fighting at the Alma and Inkerman and in both battles of Sevastopol including the assaults on the Redan. Became 2nd Battalion Middlesex Regt in 1881. The plate is in very good condition with Gilt and silver very good (minor scratches) A Fine Scarce plate with original leather backing
