Georgian 17th Royal Irish Regiment Officers Shoulder Belt Plate

This beautiful and extremely scarce plate is in superb condition. It is Parkyn 181 and was worn around 1800. It has a gadrooned edging. The motto Virtutis Namurcensis Praemium on the strap The Maid of Erin to the centre on a background of superb blue enamel. No damage to enamel. Out of the top drawer! Have you seen another?
