Royal Scots Victorian Dirk Belt Clasp

A superb little dirk belt clasp to the Royal Scots. It is often mistaken for a Scots Guards Dirk Belt Clasp, but it is definitely Royal Scots as the Scots Guards officers did not carry dirks.
Gilt buckle in super condition. To the centre on a reeded background an eight pointed silver star. Within this a gilt thistle and circlet on a green enamel background.
