4th (Halifax) West Yorks Rifle Volunteers Officers Crossbelt Plate

This is a large 4" X 2.5" Plate in gilt bras (crown) and silvered white metal. Four companies of RV were formed in Halifax in 1859 and consolidated as the 4th on 27th April 1860. It later became 1st Vol Battalion The Duke of Wellington's Regt in 1883. A super and rare item 2 screw posts to rear.
