Victorian Welsh Royal Merioneth Rifles Officers Pouch or Belt Badge

Extremely scarce badge to this Welsh Unit. The first Merionethshire RVs were formed at Bala in 1859 but disbanded in 1864. The badge is 3" X 2.5" wide. 4 piece construction. In silver plate, silver and gilded band. Gilt worn and some plate loss, but a very very scarce item.
