Scottish Rifles (Cameronians Hallmarked Silver Crossbelt plate

This is the heaviest (60 grams) Silver and earliest cross belt badge I have seen. It was made by J&Co (Jennens & Co) in 1874. The maker mark and hallmark are in the bell of the buglehorn. 3 long screwposts to rear. A real beauty.
