Victorian 5th Volunteer Battalion The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) Forage Cap Badge

A lovely small silver forage cap badge to this strange unit. They were formed from the Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers in 1887. However they were renowned for their drinking exploits rather than their discipline and the were disbanded on April the 1st 1897 on the orders of the Commanding Officer of the Cameronians.
