2nd Midlothians and Peebles Rifle Volunteers QVC Helmet Plate

This short lived unit was designated in 1880 with its HQ at Penicuick and stemmed from the 1st-2nd-3rd and 5th Midlothian RVs and the 1st-2nd-3rd and 4th Peebles RVs, In April 1888 they became the 6th Volunteer Battn The Royal Scots. This plate was only worn between 1886 and 1888
