Royal Engineers Victorian Volunteer Officers Waist Belt Plate

A very scarce engineer volunteer officers waist belt plate in Gilt on a Gilded plate. I believe that the gilded badge was only worn by senior officers, It came with a helmet I bought that was owned by the Earl of Dalhousie who was C.O of the Forfar and Kincardine Voluntary Artillery. The Helmet Plate on the helmet is also in gilt.
