1st (King,s) Dragoon Guards O/Rs Victorian Helmet Plate

This large plate was worn on the helmet from 1842. It is a white metal star with gilt garter and the numeral 1 in silvered metal on a black leather or enamel background 4 good mounting bolts and nuts to rear.
