Victorian Scottish First Fifeshire Artillery Volunteers Helmet Plate

The Fifeshire Royal Garrison Artillery Volunteers were one of the early Units. Formed in 1860 with Headquarters at Kirkcaldy. By 1863 there were 11 batteries throughout the county. This badge dates from 1880. A little verdigris to the lions head but would clean easily. 3 good lugs to rear.
