The 24th of Foot (Second Warwickshire Regiment) Georgian Officers Shoulder Belt Plate

OK you 24th of Foot people, here's something as rare as hens teeth. This plate was worn between 1782 through to the end of the century. This is Parkyn 215 which is referred to but Parkyn had not seen one and quoted another antiquary, Almack. The plate is gilt, presumably on brass, with a roped edge. On this a garter star in silver. On this engraved "2nd Warwickshire Regiment" in the centre the numerals XX1V This on a dark blue enamel plate. Original leather to rear. When I got the plate it was totally unrecognisable being layered in old lacquers and glues, which I had professionally removed..
