KOSB 2nd Volunteer Battalion O/Rs Glengarry badge QVC

The second Volunteer Battn had its origins in the 1st Berwickshire Rifle Volunteers who were formed in 1863. In 1885 the HQ was moved to Duns and in 1887 they became the 2nd Vols KOSB. 80 members of the Battalion served in the Boer War. They became the 4th (The Border) Battalion in 1908
