Royal Warwickshire Regiment 1st Vol Battn Officers cap Badge

This is a very scarce example of the short lived 1st VB officers cap badge in Silver Plate. It was worn from 1908 to 1914. The 1st VB had its origins in the Warwickshire Rifle Volunteers it was formed in 1883. In 1908 they were incorporated in the territorial force as the 5th and 6th Battalions RWR
