Black Watch Officers Victorian Plaid Brooch

A really lovely early Victorian or Edwardian example in heavy silver (quoit may be heavy Silver Plate) no maker marks or hallmarks which is quite common on Scottish Silver as some makers were too tight to pay for assaying! Lovely tracery around the rim and a strong clasp fastening to the rear. A real beauty.
