93rd Sutherland Highlanders Officers Badge in Silver

This extremely scarce badge is as KK566 but is in die stamped silver with a solid centre and separately applied silver numerals.It would have been worn from 1837 through to the end of the Crimean War in 1856 when the Balaclava scroll was added. The front of the badge is fine . The back of the badge shows wear and a couple of old repairs to the rear and possibly old lug replacement. However it presents well. Been there, seen it and got the battle honours! Here's to the men of Thin Red Line!
