The York & Lancaster Regiment QVC Officer Helmet Plate

A superb Helmet Plate worn from 1881-1901. In four part construction and in extremely good condition. The Y&L were formed in 1881 from two old regiments and The new regiment saw service in both Egypt and Sudan immediately after its formation, and also during the Second Boer War, when it took part in the Relief of Ladysmith.
