27th Regiment of Foot The Inniskillings 1878-1881 Officers Helmet Plate

One of the scarcest of helmet plates. This is K&K 192. It was worn by Officers of the 27th for just 3 years before the 1881 amalgamations. When they became the 1st Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. (When did you see another?) In superb condition and varies only from K&K in that it has a black felt backing to the silver castle.
